Main Beach is located just a few minutes north of Surfers Paradise and is the perfect choice if you find Surfers Paradise is fully booked. Once a small, cosmopolitan Gold Coast village Main Beach is now considered a fully fledged holiday destination. The popular Tedder Avenue restaurant precinct is just a few metres from the beach and is home to more than thirty bars and restaurants offering a wide choice of international cuisines. High rise holiday accommodation is the norm here as most of Main Beach consists of recent development. The panoramic ocean and/or hinterland views from most of the properties are quite spectacular. Being at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach is closest to all of the major entertainment parks.
