Burleigh Heads is one of the most popular holiday locations for families seeking a quiet, relaxing Gold Coast holiday. There is little in the way of loud entertainment venues, clubs and pubs so if tranquility is on your wishlist, then Burleigh should be a high priority location. Burleigh is one of the best surfing locations on the Gold Coast. The most obvious feature is a rocky headland that hosts a National Park and koala park, with a short walking track that has lookouts providing excellent coastal views. Much of the accommodation in Burleigh is in low and medium rise properties and while there are some high rise, they do not dominate the skyline.
